The Mansfield UMADAOP is certified by the Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services (OHMHAS) to conduct three (3) Driver Intervention Programs: 72 or 48 hour residential program or the 22 hour non-residential program.
All residential programs are housed at a local motel and participants are able to wear their own clothes, have all meals provided, engage in small group discussions, participate in presentations and view DVDs that focus on traffic safety, the effects of Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) on the mind and body, and the behavioral changes needed to prevent repeat offenses.
DIP program also offers AOD assessments, individual and group counseling, as well as DUI/OVI programming for out of state offenders.
Residential programs begin the second Thursday of every month and conclude on Sunday.
Non-residential program may be held at the UMADAOP office.
